Your deck furniture says a lot about who you are

Your deck furniture, like your other home decorations, says a lot about who you are.  Your guests can make many assumptions based on their first impression of your outdoor deck furniture.  If you want to avoid a bad first impression, you might want to reassess your existing deck furniture.  The best way to do this is to take a fresh look at your deck furniture.  Look at it after you haven’t seen it for a while and inspect it carefully for damage and wear.  Look for sun-bleaching, cracks, dents, missing pieces and water damage.  Metal deck furniture is susceptible to rust, which can eventually eat holes into the surface.  Plastic, resin and acrylic furniture can melt if it is exposed to very hot temperatures.  All outdoor furniture is prone to water stains from being rained on.  All of these damages make your deck furniture look terrible.  Some basic care can prevent this from happening in the first place, but once major damage has occurred, there is little you can do to reverse it.  If your deck furniture is starting to look very old and worn, you may want to consider purchasing new deck furniture.  Make sure that you maintain your new furniture to make it last.
